Is it normal that my nails naturally grow in a pointed shape?

That depends.
I used to have really long nails and I accidentally scratched a kid's face so bad that his family considered a lawsuit. Be careful, nails can do more damage than you think. That kid still looks in the mirror and sees his scars.

It's normal. For me at least. my nails grow long and pointy they look like claws nonetheless they do make my hands and fingers look alot slender. They do get compliments alot especially when you paint them shiny bright colors

I'm not into the pointy nail look, but do what you like with your own fingernails. If you'd prefer a rounded or square look, file your nails into the shape you'd like and then apply nail polish. If you don't want to paint your nails a different colour, applying clear top coat will also help strengthen them.

Ooo. Take a picture of them. I like pointy nails, specially if you paint them red. It doesn't look scary at all, at least in my opinion. It actually looks nice and ladylike.

Technically No. It's abnormal stem growth. I have the same issue. It's not an unhealthy issue typically though a tad annoying. Best bet is to keep filing regularly with a clean steel file, and it should help "soften" the appearance over time.

Let them grow! Good friend of mine keeps hers at the same, angle-pointy shape, and about an inch long. She does them different colors, but jet-black, and deep red are the hottest, sexiest on her. I've complimented, and felt, her nails tons of times. She loves the attention, and has even approached me at the sports bar where she works, if I'm there, to show me new colors, how sharp they are now..Really makes a thing out of it. I say, keep them long, pointed, and sharp..Guys love it.
