i use to like justin bieber and singers like that but one day i woke up and looked up scream next thing i know i liked Black Veil Brides and other bands like that.what do u think!?
yes, especially if you listen to pop music-the main point of that type of music it to be catchy, but it is extremely simple and your brain understands its structure so easily it quickly gets bored, and you have to go through song after song to get anything out of it, thus the term bubblegum pop, other music like classic rock, reggae, even trance or electronica, etc with more complex musical structure and tones and stuff may not sound interesting at first, but you can listen to the same songs over and over and over and always find something new in them, and thats why there are such die hard fans of bands like led zeppelin and pink floyd whereas backstreet boys type music comes and goes very quickly

Good. Don't listen to that mainstream bullshit. Most of it is jus awful, I have no idea how these people become famous. By the way it is normal to have your music tastes change like that. From 2007-2008 all I listened to was either mainstream bullshit or punk rock. In 2009 I mainly listened to heavy metal. In 2010 it was basically rap, and it really wasn't until 2011 that I started having a variety of music tastes. I'll listen to any type of music as long as I like the song. Fuck stereotypes.

It's said that your tastes change every seven years or so. My guess is that your old taste liked that kind of music and your new taste doesn't. It happened to me too. You're completely normal, just part of life, I suppose.
It happened to me too. For a couple of weeks I was really into disco, but now I'm back to being a new waver.
