Is it normal that my mother used to favor to my brother more?

When I was younger, my mom was always blaming me, and letting my little brother boss me around. I am eighteen now, but have not moved out, and it really bugs me, because she still does it. She threatened to kick me out next time "I" left the stove on, yet I wasn't the one cooking! It was my brother. He is 13 now and knows better, but he is such a son of a biatch sometimes!

    Have you talked to your mother about this?
    I mean in privat, not as part of a loud argument.
    Does she know how you feel?

    Kindof makes sense. If you were a parent, and you had a favorite, it would be hard to keep it a secret the whole time you raised them. Just a thought. :)
