Is it normal that my mother is a 4-time divorcee?

My mother has been in 4 marriages and she got divorced 4 times because the men she was married to were assholes. My mom is currently in her 5th relationship with a man that loves her and she loves him. So that's nice for a change. :) Is it normal that it took her 4 divorces to find 'The One'? However, my mom doesn't what to marry Mr. Philip due to finiacial reasons.

    One of my aunts has been married 3 times, and the other has been married 4. (they are sisters. When I was younger, I swore they were only getting married to out-do each other and see who could stack up the most divorces.)
