So this morning I woke up, and my mom was yelling at me because I asked for some food, I don't really know why she did but it was quite annoying. Anyone else have this problem? Is it normal that my mom yells at me when asking for food? This happens 2-6 times a week. :(
Sounds to me like you shouldn't have asked her in the first place. Are you handicapped or something, completely unable of making yourself some breakfast?
Let me teach you how to make your own breakfast, dearie. First you pour a cup or so of cereal in a bowl. Then you add the desired amount of milk, and if you really want to get FANCY, sprinkle a spoon of sugar on top. All done. Wasn't that simple? Really, if you practice, I believe you'll get the hang of it.
So, from now on you won't have to bother mamma for breaky ever again.
If you're big enough to reach the kitchen counter, try making yourself a toast or sandwich. Or even have some cereal. Why go at a parent asking for food if they yell at you?
My mother used to yell at my siblings and I for no reason growing up. Well, okay there were reasons, but they were stupid ones. If we talked to someone of the opposite gender, we'd get yelled at. If we tried to watch TV past 9, yelled at. Wanted to join an after school club, yelled at. She's more mellow now than she was back then.
Sounds like she's in a bad mood. That's pretty normal. Maybe she could use some more sleep.
