Is it normal that my mom wanted me out, but now misses me?

Most of my life, my Mom made it a point to let me know how much she hated me and how she couldn't wait until I moved out. When I got a plane ticket to California from my family who was willing to take me in, she basically counted the days.

When I went back home last year, my Mom cried when she hugged me. She was extremely happy for me to be there and treated me very well. Since I have moved away, I get texts and Facebook posts from her talking about how much she misses me.

I don't get it, how could my moving out change her feelings for me, is it normal?

Ask her why she'd changed and why she was so bitchy before

If she gets very emotional then don't ask her but if not... Make the question a statement. Like, "Mom I was a big p a in before" :/ Or whatever the thought is.

mothers will do anything for their kids to have a better future, even if it means being a total bitch towards them to get their asses moving on with their life.

Is she single? Maybe she just needs someone around. Maybe she needs to be diddled. Should give me her number, it'll keep her off your back and maybe keep me on hers. ; p

Your her fucking kid of course she missed you, your her fucking offspring for fucks sake, and if she really didn't want you, she would have either aborted you, or put you up for adoption.

She might have just pour the tough love on a little too thick for you to handle.

Lmao, you have no fucking idea.

My mom, I'm convinced, was nuts, she shit on me a lot, but it was all in attempt to make me a better person, to teach me to care for myself because no one else would.

Sadly she passed away about a year and a half ago and only now do I see the reason she did the things she did.

Sorry for your loss. My mother is bat-shit bonkers, and quite frankly, she fucked me up. I doubt i'd feel any emotional loss if she passed.
