Is it normal that my mom makes fun of me for not having money?
I'm 19 years old, I have a black belt in Karate, and have just completed my first year of engineering at the university last May with a 2.91 GPA. Yeah I know its not great, but not terrible either. Well I've been home for the summer working part time at Sonic Drive In for a few months now, and my mom constantly just loves to bring up how much money I make (which isn't a lot), or how many hours I'm working, just to rub it in my face. The way she views it, I'm unsuccessful because I'm a 19 year old college student that can't pay his own way. Last time we talked about this my mom said that she now understood why her sister kicked her kids out at 18, pointed out that my cousin got married at 20, and said she hasn't a clue why my dad wants to continue paying for my college. I don't know what to do, and it seems like there's no way to talk any sense into her.
