Is it normal that my mom is violent lately?

I'v always been close to my mom.I love her alot but lately she's changed.Like she's been violent and short tempered lately. For example today in the car she was was doing something really annoying and I asked her to stop. She said no then told me I'm annoying and a pain in the ass then she threw her wallet at me.I asked her why she was mad and she said I'm a brat.I didn't even yell at her though I was polite to her like always I respect her!So is this behavior normal?

Hmmmmm, I'm a father of 3 (a bit older) and when my lil bro was in year 12 my Mum was about 48 or so and Menopause made her an absolute be-hatch to him. she was on his back way more than on the older 3 of us and we all saw it as really unreasonable, she'd really bore it up him. If your Mum is not a crack whore, she's probably just suffering from the mid life hormonal retardation.....or you are a spoilt brat and she's finally woken up to your ways and is fighting fire with fire. the crack whore shit is true because my wife works with the drug crowd and ice/crack heads are mental.

Has she been drunk lately? Buy I don't think that is normal because the mom is suppose to be the loving one. But why don't you ask to talk to her alone and ask she has been acting that way and that it hurt your feelings.

Mine is the same also. But she refuses to get it checked or even get help. It'll be awkward, but you'll be fine.
