Is it normal that my memory works this way?

Whenever I want to remember something that has happened, I can't recall the image until the person in my head sits in front of the tv and turns it on. I find this really strange that I cannot recall a memory without it. The person is always in a lit room, wearing a red woolly jumper and is a white late 20's man, which i also find a little weird, (because i am a young black lady...) and so before i can remember something the man enters my vision from the left and walks over to the one seat sofa as he turns on the tv, as he settles in i can see my memory.
I've never seen this guys face and i guess i wanna know if i'm alone on this.
