Is it normal that my mate takes snacks when he goes for a shit?

So my mates and i were discussing whether or not it's weird that another friend takes snacks to the toilet, like a big selection of food, they said it's not i said it is.
Is this some strange thing i'm not aware of that everybody does??

    Dammit I meant to say no! It's not normal to shove food in your mouth with you're trying to get rid of some more of it. Awful... Not to mention how can you eat a snack with the smell of your own shit around you?
