Is it normal that my man doesn't like it when i casually fart?

Me and my guy are together for 5 years now and every time I fart loudly, he becomes upset and tells me he doesn't want us to be a "farting couple" and that it's disgusting. Sometimes I also make it super ostentatious by lifting my ass up in the air and ripping it, but it's because I find farts to be funny, natural and even healthy. He sometimes behaves a bit cooler about it, by farting himself, but rarely. However I don't know what to understand. Is it normal to want to consider farts part of everyday life?

        I agree with you. I would actually rather any woman that needed to fart around me did because I do not want her getting a sick, sore and bloated tummy from her holding her farts in when it is natural and normal for her to be letting out her farts the instant she feels the urge to.

        I mean that is how the human body is designed, it is why people have a bum so our body can put the waste there and we are meant to let it out the moment we feel the urge. Women's bodies are no different from men's bodies in this way, a woman's body also works this way.

        It is only using our body the way it is designed to let waste out the moment we feel the urge to and this includes women.

        This is why I take an attitude of if a woman is around me she can do whatever she needs to and don't think anything less of her for doing so. Sorry if this sounds weird but it is the truth. :)

        Easy: being feminine is mostly about being charming. Farts aren't very charming.

          You can't attach gender to a bodily function that both men and women do, regardless of whether you think it's "charming" not to.

          Personally though I do find farting gross whoever does it and would prefer my (male) partner not to do it deliberately.

            I wasn't attaching genders to farting, I was pointing out that farting wasn't charming, and that guys like girls who are charming. Being charming is important for both genders to be attractive, but moreso for girls.

            If you're upset about me implying a double standard, then by all means please be upset: men and women are judged very differently. It's fine not to like it, but wrong to disagree.
