Is it normal that my live in boyfriend doesnt like to kiss or hug

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 7 months. We met online then in person and have been wonderful. He is 11 years older than me and we have been living together just about two weeks. We were texting back and forwth one night and he told me he didn't like to kiss and touch but to show love. I got upset because I want him to kiss me and touch me and he got mad and asked me wasn't I happy? Didn't he do enough already? I want him to hold my hand in public which he said makes him feel locked down. Every once in a blue moon he'll touch me when we are in the car like hold my hand or put his hand on my leg. He doesn't kiss me except when we are making love or when he's leaving for work. is that normal that he doesn't like that?

Not to be paranoid but, are you sure he's only seeing you? When a guy is proud of his girl & is happy to have her, usually they love to hold hands or whatever as long as its not too outa hand. Or maybe he's just not an affectionate person.

  • I don't think you have a live in bf, it sounds like you have a roommate with some extra benefits on the side

I'm sure he has his reasons. Something bad might of happened to him or he just might not be a overly affectionate person. Some people are like that and are still fully capable of love. Ask him his reasons.

It seems a bit strange to me, having a girlfriend and not taking advantage of having someone to kiss. Did he come up with any reasons? I don't believe that too many people would have a physical aversion to kissing. It's entirely possible for people to have psychological reasons, though.
