Is it normal that my lips are swollen from this?

well last night i waxed my top lip as im very paranoid about having a moustache then i put on moisturizer straight after which wasnt a good idea as my face began to burn where it had been waxed and i had to try to wipe it off again. well i woke up this morning with a very swollen top lip not the waxed part my actual lip and a sore throat i also look very pale. is this a normal reaction? or am i having an allergic reaction?!

    Change the brand of wax you use too. It could be perfumes in the wax or the after wax oil. Just try a different brand next time.

    Possibly allergic, or it could be inflamation. Waxing increases blood flow to areas.

    Don't use moisturiser next time, even post-wax products can be bad. Baby oil will remove excess wax, and remove as much of the oil as you can; this allows the skin to breathe while adding enough moisture to lessen irritation.
