Is it normal that my life is like this?

I had the site open on Friday night too and was occasionally refreshing it whenever I walked past the computer. I'm also single at the moment. The difference is that I had quite a good Friday night because I was happy with what I had, rather than unhappy about what I didn't have.

If I had a girlfriend and was spending time with her, I'd have been happy about that too but I don't. I do have other things to be happy about, though, so I'm just happy about them instead.

Sometimes when I take a piss I thank god that I live in the first world with plumbing and shit. Am I the only one that does this? God im weird.

Well I do have a job i work at fucking foodlion and i hate it! :( it sucks. and i go to college but idk what to do i keep hitting this rock bottom part in my life. I try and go running sometimes and stay fit or anything but somehow i always end up depressed again. i dont have a boyfriend and i cant make friends im just weird it sucks, i just want to find happiness and be normal like everybody else out there but maybe thats to much to ask for.

it might not be normal but its honest. i've done my share. social anxiety mabye. so screw fridays they're not for you. try sun nites, mon, tues, wed. that might get you back into the flow of things.

I work on Friday nights.
While all of the kiddies my age are out having fun or chilling at home like you are on Friday nights, I have to fucking work.

Get a graveyard shift job and you'll be wishing you could still chill on Friday nights. Ain't nothin' wrong with chillin'.

It's never too late to change this about yourself.

You can make new friends.
You can find things to fill your time.
You can find places to go and things to do.
Start small.
Go out for a walk or something.
Try to do at least one productive thing per day.
If you do just that, you should feel good about yourself.

I love doing nothing on a Friday night. Going out all the time isn't exactly fun for me. I often enjoy my quiet evenings alone.

I voted that this is not normal, because it is not. EVERYONE goes out on a friday night, at least besides you and me. Actually i one up on you like super mario bros.

I go out on a friday night to the bodega, buy beer and play games on my PC, or rant on facebook with "friends" that are actually just colleagues from work and nothing else. Otherwise i have no social life, this thing called friend(s). My professional occupation is my; any kind of social life and being unemployed, i am going nuts. It is my fault, im not attractive, overweight yet not obese and very insecure and unconfident. Somehow i found peace with my social status, rather lack there of though: alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, music and the internet.

I admit, abusive forms of "copaseditives" is not healthy and not something anyone should recommend but, we all have our vices. If there is a "gateway" anything it is alcohol and substituted by peer pressure when necessary. At least (most of) my vices are nature(al) and not scientific (cocaine, heroine, extacy).
