Is it normal that my knees bend backward and crunch?

My knees bend backwards and it scares some people, my mom especially. She has bad knees as well and ever since I can remember my knees crunched when I bent them a lot. Also, they often hurt and cause me to limp some days. I was diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome as well. I'm pretty young and am somewhat worried about my future health.

Oh goodness. I have no idea what that diagnosis is but it sounds like you shoukd take it easy. You need prayer and a doctor.

Sorry that you have an illness. I would say don't crunch them on purpose. Find out more about what you should be doing and not doing with this illness. Doesn't the swimmer Olympian guy Phelps have this? Maybe look up famous people that have this and you will see that you can have a great life too.

What are you doing to make your knees bend backward? I'm on Marfan watch myself, I used to do this weird thing where I would make my legs rigid, by making this weird motion, and my knees would go backward. They never fully went backwards. But, it did hurt a lot. I wouldn't be able to walk or stand for awhile? Are you doing something like this?

They just have a habit of almost sliding backwards while I'm standing straight up. I guess it's like bending your knees forward, just reverse. It seems normal to me so it's a little hard to explain.
