Is it normal that my joints do this?

Both of the joints in my wrist pop when i move them in a circular motion. On my left arm my wrist will pop even with the slightest movement of my arm. My neck cracks over and over again. Both of my ankles pop when I walk a certain speed. Both of my big toes pop and crack. Why is this? I'm only 19 btw and sometimes this can be very painful so.. is this normal?

This sounds like Joint Hypermobility Sydrome. I have the same things...also extreme range of motion in most of my joints, elbows and knees "bend backwards", and ALL my joints crack and pop ALL THE TIME. Along with that is my joints dislocate and subloxate really easily...especially my shoulder joints, usually while I'm sleeping. Go see a rhumetologist to rule out other connective tissue disorders like Ehlers-Danlos, and they will also likely refer you to a physical therapist.

I know this is from over a year ago so please accept my apology, but I was diagnosed with JHS and I get these popping things all the time! So your comment is really helpful, haha.

I agree with snapcracklepop, i have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, but this could be Joint Hypermobility Syndrome... Similar to E.D.S, but less serious, you don't get any internal issues with Hypermobility Syndrome and usually only joint hypermobility and pain. If you look up the The Brighton Criteria for JHS - you will be able to see if you are bendy to the point where you meet the diagnosis criteria. Then if you suspect it could be the reason you're experiencing this you should visit a Dr to try get a diagnosis. x

My teenage son is exactly the same with his ankles and knees, but everyone just says 'growing pains'.

Don't worry i have this same issue. If its painful i would seek help because that might be something dangerous.
