Is it normal that my joints are popping like never before?

Here's my whole story ( Hang in there please! Might all be huge factors in this!)

My neck used to hurt sometimes ( perhaps, due to bad posture when doing homework or on laptop), although it wasn't serious, my dad decided to take me to the chiropractor to get adjustments when I was in 5th grade. I must say it did help, but temporarily of course. I didn't really take my posture seriously as I did not sit right, and maybe, this might be a reason to my neck problem. After 9th grade, during the summer, I started making friendship bracelets, and pretty soon, I got a horrible neck ache. I didn't realize the way my posture was was putting a strain on my neck so I tried other positions to ease it. I didn't realize exactly how to sit correctly and still not have the pain to occur again and that also my long periods of sitting in the same positon and spot could be a factor either. I stopped making friendship bracelets and my neck ache wasn't present for a while. I started doing stretches like every night before going to sleep and this may be a factor in my joints popping like never before). School started pretty soon, I was in 10th grade then, which meant harder classes. Especially, as I overloaded myself with an extra advanced class ( history class which meant a lot of reading. This was a problem because I couldn't read w/out looking down as my school chairs and tables were pretty low. Also, I couldn't look down for long periods of time because my neck would start hurting while taking 1 hour tests or looking in one certain direction ( left or right) for a long period of time). Thankfully, I got out of that class, though, my neck would still hurt. So I started visiting the chiropractor again (I did visit my chiropractor but rarely throughout the years or not even one time during a year or so). My chiropractor said he knew what was going on with my neck. He called it Subluxation and that it's caused due to 3 types of stress: physical, chemical, and mental and to fix this, I need to get regular adjustments like once or twice a week, eat healthy, exercise, and get a lot of sleep, sit right always, and that'll, hopefully, get rid of the pain. Whenever I got an adjustment, I felt immediate relief, but soon the pain would come back. I realized that I couldn't turn my head over/across my shoulder to the left without pain or struggle, but on the right side, I could easily do all that without any pain or struggle. I stopped visiting the chiropractor because my plan was over and that I couldn't keep on affording it. Plus, I personally think that popping your joints continuously is bad.
Finally, ( I had super long hair, but had to trim it to shoulder length because it could've been too heavy, extra weight on my head.) I started going to physical therapy ( I had insurance to cover the costs) and I learned more about my problem. I was taught exercises that helped my neck pain. Also, I learned that my problem is focused around my left back area from the left side of neck. Also, whenever my physical therapist would press down on that area ( where neck and shoulder connect) and have me turn my head over my left shoulder, I could do it easily, like before. However, without her pressing down on my left shoulder, I had difficulty doing that. I would visit my therapist two times a week for around 2 months. My therapist informed me that if I still couldn't handle the pain, I'd have to visit a doctor again, and who knows, I might have surgery done or be prescribed medication for the pain. ( I started sleeping on the floor because I have a 11 year old mattress and that might've been a factor also.) I didn't have to visit my doctor again and my physical therapy ended. I did my neck exercises everyday and my neck pain wasn't horrible ( rarely). Recently, I stopped doing my neck exercises completely and my neck hasn't been hurting like before. I realized I should really stop doing my neck exercises completely and see if my neck pain would go away.)This is not the problem, but rather the factors that might have some cause in my joints popping continuously, like never before! I've noticed since the past 3 months or so, my hip pops whenever I lie down and also, whenever I do sit ups, my bones or something move or roll in my back, making a noise ( both which never happened to me before.) Sometimes, my hip bone pops as I walk and my hips kind of feel lose due to the popping. I've noticed also how my big toes pop continuously. My right knee, recently, has started to hurt ( feels like it's out of place) and I have to pop it so it doesn't hurt ( goes back into it's spot). Also, whenever I sit down and put weight on my arms, my elbows started popping. I don't think this is normal. I think maybe stretching is doing harm to my body so I stopped stretching completely two days ago. I think I've noticed my popping reducing, but I can't say so. I'll update on that soon. My neck problem might go away btw since I have nothing to stress about really, chance to get all my sleep, and etc. Also, no neck straining work like reading a book and stuff. I was planning on getting abs and doing other exercises ( like jump roping, bicycling) but can't because I'm scared it'll make my popping worse, or cause even worse/ new problem. Also, it could be that I need calcium or something. Btw, I don't go to the doctor for regular check ups. It's because we just recently got insurance like 3 years ago and so it wss never a habit and really important. Anyways, if this has occurred to anyone else before, can you please tell me what you did or explain to me what is going on or could be a possibility. I'll take anything, suggestions, advice, or anything of the sort! I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

the excessive joint popping is due to overstretching 3
perhaps, reduce the stretching girl! 2

And, don't ask for medical advice on this site. Do people really think that sound medical help can be found in random strangers?

Maybe not, but physicians tend to just put people.on nasty/expensive/sometimes dangerous pharmaceuticals when an herb or some other homeopathic remedy would b best, so asking other normal people isnt necessarily a bad idea.

This sounds exactly like Joint Hypermobility Sydrome. I have the same things...extreme range of motion in most of my joints, elbows and knees "bend backwards", and ALL my joints crack and pop ALL THE TIME. Along with that is my joints dislocate and subloxate really easily...especially my shoulder joints, usually while I'm sleeping. Go see a rhumetologist to rule out other connective tissue disorders like Ehlers-Danlos, and they will also likely refer you to a physical therapist.
