Is it normal that my hot straight co-worker acted this way?

I'm a guy, 22, bi-sexual leaning towards men and I know that's normal and I am cool with it, but I want to know if what my hot straight male co-worker did was normal or if he's maybe a little curious.

We work in the same office, we've both been promoted to different departments and hardly see eachother anymore these days but in years past, we worked close together. I trained him on our system, taught him the do's and don'ts of our office etc. I went through a rough time in my family life and he often tried to comfort me with lunch, drinks, invited me out and very randomly he would sneek up behind me and just begin rubbing my shoulders or my neck, normally I don't let anyone touch me, but I let him and he just did it whenever he thought I was down. We shot elastics at eachother when we stayed late and he often showed me the marks they would leave by taking off his shirt, he definately seen me chek him out and turn red and then would ask if I had any marks, to which I replied no and usually blushed harder and would leave him where he was. He has and had a girlfriend at the time but did cheat on her with a girl from the office, who I was best friends with (she's the only one at work who knows I liked him and am bi) anyway after that he could never meet my eyes and we drifted apart.

What do you think, normal or no?

I think it's normal. But I'm sorry to say, I don't think he is bi, more just a really good friend and just super comfortable around you. I joke around with all my mates and we all do things like that just for a laugh, but we are all straight. As for what you should do, that's a tough one. You can tell him how you feel but could risk your friendship or you don't tell him and maybe forget about him. It's up to you :)

Thank you all so much, I was probably just reading into it. I guess when you want it to happen so bad, you jump to conclusions haha

Sometimes we have no idea when we're flirting with someone else, other times a random act of kindness of playfulness can feel like someone is flirting with you if you have some attraction to them. I get the feeling you think he's rejected you, but you may be reading too much into it. Treat him like you did before the 'shirt incident' and maybe see if he wants to get lunch together sometime.

I think thats normal...you may have taken his kindness wayyy too close to the heart i feel maybe you should think if whether or not he did it because he liked you or whether it was something in a way of being nice......
