Is it normal that my heart breaks for everyone?

Today I witnessed a really insane car accident, I suppose its normal to feel like my heart sank. But the thing is, I get that heart sinking feeling for homeless people, people in wheel chairs or even just old people. I even get the feeling when someone isn't in pain or suffering. For example, I had this feeling when I was at a mini golf place and the owner was explaining that it was his idea and he built it. I just get heart broken so easily.

    Yeah I understand how it could harm me :/ It tends to make me feel weak.

      There's nothing weak about it. I'm the same way, I've always had a high amount of empathy for other people. Maybe you should use that to your advantage and take up some sort of job in human services. You could be a PCA or run a soup kitchen or get involved with an advocacy group...

    Yeah your feelings are absolutly normal. I would find you odd if you got off on these sorts of things. How are the people/person in the accident I hope they're ok. Have you had any councilling after witnessing such a tragic event? xxx

    Don't focus so much on this world's troubles that you forget about all the good that's happening world wide.

    I felt the same way as you do until I kept getting disappointed by people over and over again. Now my heart is filled with pure hate. The only thing I wish for humankind is hell and suffering. This is how a person dies and becomes a hateful shell with no emotions. First they treat us like crap, then they rob us of our personality. With our personality gone and our soul crippled we turn into vengeful demons. I could kill humankind if I had the chance to. Except for the weak, like; poor, depressed, suicidal people etc.

    Its nice that you have such sensitivity for others, unfortunately in this world we live in, it may end up getting you very hurt during your journey through life.
