Is it normal that my head tingles when something feels nice?

Whenever something feels nice, like having my back stratched or a lovely foot rub, my head/scalp goes all tingly - kind of like a nice version of pins and needles. I thought this was normal till I told my Mum that this happens to me and she thought I was weird!
