Is it normal that my hands fascinate me?

Every one in a while, I will just look down and go "Holy crap, my hands are awesome!"

Here, right at my wrist, sitting unacknowledged, is a biological machine that can move rapidly, precisely, efficiently and silently. Humans haven't yet made a robot hand that doesn't buzz from the motors. Even then, I can switch between giving a thumbs-up, a peace sign, and flipping somebody off in less than a second. I couldn't do that with any animatronics currently in existence. I can portray an incredible range of messages, Even if people can't see any other part of me.

As I think this, I spend approximately half a minute flexing my fingers, making a fist, touching fingers to thumb, etc before I snap out of it and return to my previous activity.

I've heard of people staring at their hand when they're high, but this is a regular occurrence for me, having never used drugs.

    Hands are miraculous. Dim the lights, lay on your bed and perform those same motions with your hands, the millions of atoms and cells to make those motions work.. not to mention the neurokinetics.. it's just awesome.

    Do you have man hands as a woman?

    I love my hands as well. Sometimes I look at other people's hands, too. I can't help it. If someone has pretty hands, I take notice.

    I wouldn't say that it is normal because everyone takes their hands for granted. But you are different you know the true value of your hands. So don't listen to people that make fun of you for it. I might suggest that instead you should look at the complexities of the rest of the human body or in nature.

    I love my hands too!! I touch my fingers to my thumb and fist and all that but when I need to calm dwn or bored
