Is it normal that my hair falls out?

ok,
so i am a female and i have dirty blonde hair. its not thick at all. its very fine and thin. it is so hard to do my hair because it slips out of hands. i have to shower and wash it everyday because if i dont, then it will get super greasy.
i get alot of hair breakage.
my hair gets frizzy alot and when i comb my hair or touch it i get lots of hairs in my hand.
i get alot of clumps of hair out when i get done with a shower. it clogs up the drain pretty fast and i have to put a stopper by the drain and it has holes where the water goes down but it stops the hair. so, after just one shower there is clumps of hair that i have to get rid of.
is this normal? should i be concerned?

As the others have said - worth getting checked put by a doctor just to rule out any health problems.
Something else to consider is switching shampoo and conditioner - some really clog the hair up and make it go greasy and heavy super quick. I've always found that the cheap brands are the worst - you get what you pay for.

Depends on how much you a loosing. If you are noticing more hair than normal realize it is rare for woman to go bald genetically! Some possible reasons for unexplained hairloss is thyroid problems, candida, etc. I would go see a doctor. The hairloss might be an indication of something else going on in your body.

I have had this problem all my life. My shower drain gets clogged frequently. I just quit worrying about it. I do notice it gets worse if I am not eating well or am stressed out.

Invest in a chin-strapped hair helmet

hair loss could be caused by high testosterone or other androgens. If you have irregular periods, I would check for pcos. It could easily be another hormone imbalance besides pcos, though. pcos is just the most common endocrine disorder.

Don't use hair products with Sodium Laureth Sulfate or really any kind of sulfate. It can cause hair loss. I also agree with the above comments. Thyroid disease is more common than you would think. Good luck!

Normally people lose around 100+ hairs a day...possibly more if your hair is long.
