Is it normal that my grandmother acts so irritably?

My grandmother was never like this before. She has to shout everything, and since I have sensitive ears it's starting to be a problem. She seems to get mad over the most normal things--our newborn puppies whimpering, our dogs wanting to play with her. She also does this thing...
"Did you leave your glass there? DID you? Well, go and wash it! It'll gather germs! Don't you think about others? Can't you get up from that sofa at least once a day? Blablabla" And so on and so on, instead of just telling me to wash it. IIN?
