Is it normal that my grandfather lightly slaps me for no reason?

My Grandfather is 83 and he's a feisty guy.
He raised three highly successful daughters; my three aunts.
He is loving, energetic and crudely funny.
He likes to swear at telemarketers and play
pranks on the family.

Sometimes, when we are all hanging out and talking, and I might
say something stupid or something that seems strange to his old fashioned way thinking, he will slap my legs or arms.

I know it isn't a real hit, but what is it?
Sometimes when he does it I'll playfully ask him, "Hey? What's wrong?" but he never answers.

Is this just an old person thing, or a guy thing or what.

My grandma used to do that and one time I smacked her back which surprised her. I was about 15 at the time and she was pushing 70. She did laugh about it though.

How come all your grandfather's children are your aunts and none of them are your mother (or uncle)?

Oh wait, is it perhaps your paternal grandfather and this whole thing is a trick? Well, how wonderful! How nice of you to try and cheat people this way.

your gramps is sexually repressed. Your granny either wont put out or her twat is too dried up for use. He needs a tight hot hole to bone.
