Is it normal that my girlfriend is 3" taller than me?

I am 5' 10" and the girl I'm seeing is 6'1".

I'm perfectly happy with it and I actually have always fancied taller girls but I've never been with one.

What is your perception of the girl being much taller than the guy?

On a side-note, we haven't had sex yet and I'm wondering if any of you have had sex with a similar height difference and was it good/bad? What are the best positions? Are there any you can't do?

    I'm 5'10 and my bf is only 5'4 and he finds it amuses when I wear really big heels! We've never had any issues with sex or finding positions we can't do, just give it a try and you'll find that it isn't any different! Completely normal in my opinion.

      Thank you, it's good to hear that other couples don't have an issue with it. People seem to be trying to convince me that there's an issue, when I personally don't think there is.

    I'm 6' and so is my girlfriend. I must admit I do find it an odd experience when she wears high heels and towers over me.

      Yeah, it does feel very different. I just notice that we kiss more when we're sitting down lol. Does it actually bother you when she wears heels? It doesn't bother me but she just tends to call me short a lot when she's wearing them :)

        Doesn't actually bother me. Doesn't happen enough to bother me, come to think of it. It is unusual in a not unpleasant way. Just makes a change, I suppose. It pleases her, so that pleases me.

    I've always wondered why men are almost always the taller person in any heterosexual relationship I've seen. It's like it's an unwritten rule. However, height doesn't/shouldn't matter. So yes, it's normal.

    For me it is not normal but then again I'm tall. I guess for all you little ones here it might be a problem so if your girl don't make a problem out of it then why not.
