my gf the most amazing woman in my life is exactly like my mother... is there something wrong with that am i sick or something?? i just want to know because im not kidding they are exactly alike personality wise but looks they are tottaly different........
As a sociologist, I can tell you this is entirely normal. Men will gravitate towards women who are like their mothers, and women towards men who are like their fathers. Quite often this is subconscious, and it is unfortunately the reason why you see so many women who had abusive fathers repeating their mothers mistakes, etc.
It just means you come from good people, you know good people, you love good people. Totally normal and healthy. Just try to look at it in a better perspective! :)

Wow this is funny because it's the same way with me! My boyfriend's mom is exactly like me & I am like her. I think it's completely normal but just make sure they never get in any arguments (& try not to ever compare the 2) people like to be individuals! :) Have fun with both of your lovely ladies!

It's normal. I used to read in the psychology book about stuff like that. Guys tend to go for women who are similar to there mother, and girls tend to go for guys similar to there father. And a lot of times they don't catch on fast. They don't realize right away the similarities until you're completely in the relationship.
