Is it normal that my friend kind of talks to my "ex"?

This guy I don't want to consider an ex. Hes a lying no it all asshole and im not happy that i fell for that. Well We admitted we liked each other and held hands a few times but when I kept pulling away when he wanted to kiss me, he ignored me for the next 5 days and " dumped " me on valentines day. He was my first I guess boyfriend u could say but anyways, my best friend was furious that he was a jerk to me like that. I deleted him from Facebook but on news fees it shows that she still comments on his statuses I know she's not flirting of course and he told me she would delete him but she hasn't yet. I see news feed that she's commented on his stupid things. Should I let it go?

  • I could explain why I find this so irritating, but I'll sum it up to the conclusion.

    Shut up, princess.

    Let it go.

You have no right to dictate who she talks to online.

If you're mad that she's talking to your ex... that's your problem.

If only "letting it go" was that easy. I get it, it's happened to me. My friend continued talking to my ex cuz supposedly they became "friends" while we were dating. I know she would never talk to him like that (and I have my reasons why I know) but it bothered me. Like if he's not in my life he's not in my "group's" life anymore. My friends should be on MY side and not talk to him. So no, it's not normal she talks to him and yes, it's normal you don't like it.

maybe you should wait and see if she´s really talking to him. if it still bothers you, you should confront her. she´s your friend you should be able to express your feelings! if she´s a true friend she will understand. even if you are overreacting!

In a sense it sounds like you feel it's betrayal, and that is understandable. It hurts when it feels like someone betrayed you.
If your friend is like me, (which I sort of doubt) perhaps she might be trying to solve the problem. Maybe she's trying to help you and your ex? I don't know I could be completely wrong. So, take it with a grain of salt.
