Is it normal that my friend kills animals and doesn't feel remorse?

Everyone has always agreed that this friend of ours is weird and kind of creepy, but she has recently confessed to me some disturbing stuff. She told me that since she was 9 she has been killing animals. She started with strangling her neighbors cat, then went from there to dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, and everything else she could get her hands on. But the worst part is that she said she doesn't ever feel guilty about it, she said it actually makes her feel good. I'm starting to fear for my own life, but I'm not sure if I'm just over reacting, Is this normal?

    I am going to strongly encourage you to tell your parents. I'm assuming that you have a good relationship with them. If you don't, then tell another adult that you are comfortable with. This is a lot of "baggage" for you to carry. Your friend needs help, and quickly! Telling someone about this, isn't ratting out your friend, Okay? It's getting her the help she needs. Good luck!

    omg, she sounds awful. those poor animals. :(
    also, some people who killed humans started out killing animals. you know who jeffrey dahmer is? he took dead animals into the woods and dissected them.

    just saying, your friend is showing early signs of a killer...

    Omg! Those poor animals :( what a monster! You need to tell a counselor at school. Tell them that you want to remain anonymous and you don't want her to know. Chances are if she is creepy like you say the school already has an eye on her.

      I'm homeschooled, so I can't just go to her school they won't let me in. Besides, it's Summer vacation, there is no school.

    If she is a teenager then ask her to show you the bodies of these animals before you actualy call the cops because teenagers tend to say these things looking for attention.

      She is a teenager, and she offered to show me some of the ones she buried, but I really don't want to see that. I do know her neighbor though, she has lived in the same house all her life, and her neighbor did tell me that she killed her cat.

    If she pisses her bed and starts fires she ticks all the boxes of the McDonald triad, which means shes going to be a serial killer when she grows up. I recommend not telling anyone because it will be a lot more funny when she inevitably starts killing people and asks you if you want to see where she buried the bodies
