K well my friend is totally obsessed with A certain male celebrity. I dont mind but recently it's so bad our friendship is deteriorating. She always hangs out with all the other girls obsessed with him and she recently punched me in the face because I waswatching her leave a hate comment on his girlfriends twitter. I told her that it's not really healthy for her to be like this but she just said "I know. I don't care." She's been getting really bad. I mean she's had obsessions with people before but they would last maybe a week and that person would never affect our friendship in any way. I'm worried about her. Can I help her somehow? IIN?

    Tell her parents (I assume you two are still in high school) so, they can get her the psychiatric help she needs.

    She's gotten a lot better...afte she got through the "1st phase" I had a talk with her and she said she didn't realize I was so bothered by it blahblahblah and yeah...thnx anyway guys!!^.^ ur gr8!!!:)))

    She hit you in the face, tell her to chill or get a new friend/only hang round with the non crazy ones you already have. It's nice that you want to stay being friends but it's a two way thing and she doesn't seem to want to do her bit.

    The exact same thing happened to a girl I knew. If the obbsesion is deep enough, it doesn't matter what u do. Eventually she will grow bored of this celebrity and move on.let her do that on her own.

    so who's the guy? i'm just curious.
    i develop crushes on famous faces sometimes. i keep my hopes up that i can meet them, but i know the chances of anything beyond that are slim. my real-life crush likes kate nash and it pisses me off kuz i'm afraid he likes her more than me. :/

    anyway..you probably should ignore her and find new friends. it doesn't sound like much fun being around her anymore.
