Is it normal that my friend is seeing aliens?

I know my friend's been taking quite a lot of different drugs and he's always been alright, but now he keeps telling me about his alien encounters and how he believes that a supernatural humanoid species will take over the world in 2012. He says that he keeps seeing these purple creatures talking to him in the forest and claims that all of his friends have seen them too even all of them deny this...
I don't think that this is normal and I'm probably going to try to talk him into seeing a psychiatrist soon...what do you think?

    i didnt vote on this one, cause i dont know what to tell you. i think this is one of the hottest topics among all the scholarly people. look it up on youtube, take in what you can. cause some of the stuff is really scary. start out searching something mild for info about HOLLOW EARTH, and ufos. but take everything with a grain of salt. dont believe everything that you hear. your friend shouldnt go around believing those things are his friends. most likely they are not. the level of deception surrounding this subject annoys me. as you search information around the topic of UFOs and Hollow Earth, just remember all the suffering masses of people that struggle daily to survive while this knowledge has been kept secret purposefully for thousands of years.

    If he's seeing things when he's not high, or if he believes his hallucinations are real even when he's sober, he should definitely see a doctor.

    What kind of drugs is he on? Some drugs cause hallucinations, so that's exactly why he's seeing these things. He definitely needs mental help.

      Yeah, as far as I know he's on acid, shrooms, weed and sometimes amphetamines. Some of them are known to cause schizophrenia, aren't they?
