Is it normal that my friend is biosexual?

About two days ago, my best friend, Deidra, and I were sitting with our other friends at lunch just chatting. I bit into my sandwhich, my stomach growling with hunger. I chewed my sandwhich and took a swig of water when Deidra leaned over and whispered, "I'm biosexual."

At first, I didn't hear her well. I just stared at her and said, "What?" Deidra told me again and this time, I heard her. My eyes were big, because Deidra doesn't look like the type of person. "Miranda, Aubrie, and Cierra,"(our friends) are also bi." Deidra told me. I just nodded and told her, "I promise not to say ANYTHING to anyone in this school...I promise!"

Deidra and I curled our pinkies together and went on with the day. I was really shocked that my own best friend, since I've known since fourth grade, was biosexual. Its been two days now but I'm still in shock.......wow!
