Is it normal that my friend has a break down if i don't text her back?

So the title says it all. My friend since 3rd grade get really angry or upset if I don't text her back within 3 minutes of receiving the text. It drives me crazy! I just want to hit her sometimes! If I don't answer her she automatically assumes that I hate her and she goes on Facebook and complains and blows up my page. She is my best friend but now I can't stand her! IIN?!

    There have been quite a few posts like this...it sounds like she has attatchment issues. Does she do this on a daily basis. You may want to tell her how you feel. Tell her nicely; she sounds a bit crazy so you wouldn't want to upset her.

    Yeah what wrong with her? If i were you,, she would be the nightmares of me..don't she thinks I'm not her slave.or not a auto texting machine.?

    How disturbing. She really should see a therapist. If she doesn't get help now, think of how she'll react in relationships.

    I'm so so so happy to see you ask this question...I don't feel as bad anymore. My best friend is exactly the same way. She sends like 8 txt at a time and if I don't immediately respond, I get a msg about how hurt she is and how I don't appreciate her. Then when I go on facebook...there it is...her post about "people in my life don't care about me". Mind you this is done at least once every week! Cannot put into words how much this annoys the hell out of me!!!!

    PART TWO:
    If I say I'm spending the day with family and I can't go to the mall with her she asks why I have to see my family and she gets really mad. What is wrong with her?!
