Is it normal that my friend always copies me?

One of my best friends always copies everything that I buy or do. Then she acts as if it was all her idea! Grr! I know i should be flattered that she thinks I have good taste but when I seem unoriginal and she looks Ubercool in front of everyone it really ticks me off. I know it may be immature but is it normal that I get so mad? I even find myself searching out new versions of the things that she has copied. e.g bracelets or jackets.

    no offense, but your friend's being kind of a lil' bit of a parasite-but on the other hand they really just wanna be "cool".

    don't think about it too much. cause one day yur gonna crack then yur gonna look like the fool not her

    All my life this happened. I hate it. I turn mean when people do it. I get competetive and nasty after they start. I wish I could tone it down, too, but that crap bugs me!

    Sounds like a parasite. I wouldn't like that either. Sounds like a phoney person, pretending it's all their idea, although it could really depend on the person. I had a friend who was a pain and may have done something like that but she wasn't a bad person at all and she just didn't seem to realize some of the stupid things she did, although she was a selfish person. When it's been done to me (copying) it's been done in animosity by fake people with bad intentions. So I really didn't appreciate it.

    I know, it's very very irratating and i've had exactly the same thing in the past, but then it slowly progressed to her stealing things from me. I'm not saying your friend will, but you should definitely talk to her about it. The odds are; that she knows she's doing it, and will probably be embarrassed that you've noticed. Hope I helped :)

    ya, how come that flattery doesn't feel good? because it just doesn't.

    i suppose you shouldn't show her anything you buy in advance.

    even some adults do that.

    Lol im a guy and i have the same problem with one of my friends. Ill get new clothes and i swear within a week or two he would have already gone out and found the same things. Is this friend an only child by chance?
