Is it normal that my flaccid penis is constantly changing size?

When errect, my penis is pretty consistently somewhere between 6&3/4" and 7", but when flaccid, it changes size all the time. Sometimes it's nearly as big as it when it's erect and other times it's really shrunken, like 3" and way thinner, like a pencil. Those are just the two ends of the spectrum, both the length and the thickness vary quite a bit. It doesn't seem to be related to temperature, it changes pretty randomly all the time throughout the day. I wish it would stay as big as it is hard more often, I get a lot more female attention that way lol. So is this a normal thing for most guys?

The human penis and testicles are designed for temperature control - the cremasteric muscle flexes or relaxes as needed to keep the testicles at a relatively constant temperature.

When it's cold out, the muscle with flex to tighten everything up and draw the testicles closer to the body to retain heat. When you're warmer the muscle will relax to let your testicles drop lower to help release heat.

This, when properly functioning, maintains your genitals a few degrees cooler than the rest of your body. It's natures way of preserving sperm and ensuring they're kept as healthy as possible.

I'd say so. I don't have one but I see my bfs in all stages through the day. He's large when hard but flaccid sometimes it'll look like a tic tac and all sizes in between. I'd like to think its normal
