Is it normal that my first name is heal??

so the title says it all,my first name is Heal and i feel i'm the only one with that name in this entire galaxy. OR THERE'S ANYONE ELSE? i'd be so grateful i'm not the only one then. surname Heal is acceptable i mean it's not that weird but Heal for first name? some friends of mine make a fun of it and sometimes call me Hell (that's pretty cool tho) and english isn't my country's first language so couple people find it pretty hard to just say it. makes introducing phase annoying for me. is there anyone of you guys has weird or uncommon first name too?

Your parents just wanted to be different! I guess they saw you as the healer of the world...maybe one day you'll walk in your calling, to someday heal people of anything! It's not such a bad name, it's your name and you should be proud to have a name that's not like anyone else's! :)

Yes! I have a weird first name too and I don't want to say it here but it's weirder than Heal. I think that Heal is very pretty. When I was young my classmates could not say my name properly and people never remember my name or get it all wrong. I am used to it now. I have come to love it because I still have found no one with the same first name as I.

  wow it's a big relieve knowing that. yes i always have to repeat it like 3 times every single time i meet new people. and actually i dont always hate it cause sometimes i feel pretty proud too with that name cause of its uniqueness but still people get it wrong.

The variation of my last name is unique to my mother and me. Beyond us, there's no one in the world that carries it. And of course it's French so no one in America knows how to spell it correctly.

But I can't say I've ever seen it the way you do. There's profit to be gleaned in everything. Even in a funny first/last name.

Use it as a conversation starter as I do.

I have a weird first name to, or at least it isn't meant for a guy. Anyways, if their is anything I've learned is to sweat it, it's just a name.

I wouldn't change it to the German because it sounds like 'Geilen' which means like... horny kinda. Dutch. I like the name Heal

Heal is a sick name. If you really don't like it, just change to it to a different language you like, that translates to heal. I think you should stick with it. I wish I had a name like that.

I was at junior school with someone whose surname was Heal. I got to know their cousin too (also a Heal). And I later became very good friends with another cousin (who wasn't a Heal).

It's unusual as a first name but I actually kind of like it.
