Is it normal that my female friend smells like sea bass?

A close friend of mine ive known since like middle school has an odor problem. Its not like a subtle musty its like someone rubbed dead and dying fish all over her. The thing is everyone knows but we either dont know how to tell her or are just to busy teasing her to care. And also is it my responsibility to tell her since im not her best friend and she should be the one to tell her not me.?

You think she doesn't know already?

I think you are the one who is clueless. You are her friend, you don't make fun of her, you are the people that keep her head up when she's down, you keep her moving.

What good will come out of telling her something she already knows... Because not everyone is polite to keep things to their selves. What gives you the right to make her feel self-conscious even around her friends?

Don't judge her because of something she can't control. Don't assume it's her hygiene because you have no idea how many medical issues can cause a problem like this.

Damn, I hope she finds better friends. A real friend sticks with you through thick and thin. A real friend does't let other people talk about you in front of them without repercussion. There's no such thing as "part-timing" friendship.

Don't waste her time then. If she wants you to know something is going on in her life, she will let you know.

If you don't tell her someone else will. Even if it's hurts, isn't it always better to hear these things from a friend who care as opposed to a complete stranger?

Here's what health class DIDN'T teach girls:
The only way to a clean, healthy pussy is by USING FEMININE WASH ONLY IN VAGINAL REGION.
Ph levels head to toe are not the same. Especially the areas which secrete blood every however many days.
Too many girls do not know this.
Please do her a fave and get her a bottle of Vagisil or Summer's Eve Fem Wash. It's by the tampons at whichever store. $5.
    She will Love you FOREVER.

Try to think of her as a fisherman's daughter. She will seem more heroic.

  • As long as YOU dont have to fuck her,why the hell should you have to worry about it.

if people tease her about it then she probably already knows? What kind of question is this?

  • I hate sea bass, but I've never eaten it.

What do you mean by, "too busy teasing her to care"?

How do you tease her about the smell without telling her?

If it is damaging her social life or its potential then yeah, tell her, as tactfully as you can. You'd be doing her a favour, but don't expect her to be grateful.

Telling a girl she stinks of fish is never a good idea.

There's a rare health condition where in which people can't process foods that are high in Choline. Consumption of such foods causes a very bad odor. I forget what it is called.

    Hmmm story's a bit fishy.....
A squeeze of lemon should sort that out....
But seriously maybe she got a yeast infection or something ... but u should tell her at least it will make her aware and able to sort it out

Print out this story and put it in her bag. Although I'm surprised nobody answered with ways of making her smell better. That seemed to be the root of the problem.

The only thing that comes to mid is genital fungus infection, not dangerous and very common. I wouldn't bring it up, she probably knows already.

I guess you can buy her some strong perfume. Or if you really have to talk to another female friend who is close to her.

It never goes well, I'm afraid no one likes being called smelly, even if it is for their own good :(
