Is it normal that my favourite teacher is inviting me to her wedding?

Hi everyone,
So this is the thing. I have had this teacher in grade six who was absolutely the best. I love her so much as she has had a large impact in my life not in a romantic way. So when I left her last year to go to high school I gave her a two page note saying how I feel and she loved it. She actually cried from it. So after that she said to keep in contact with her and ... that she would invite me to her wedding. She was also going to invite a couple of other girls to her wedding as well but out of all of them I am closest to her. I can't believe that she wants me to be part of her special day and plus this post if for all of you to share your experience that you've had with your favourite teacher.

    I keep in contact with my Pre-school teacher after 18 years. She's like a mother to me. :)

    I think it is normal because in my primary school my class was invited to do a choir song for a teachers duaghters wedding in year 5 i think. i didnt go cause i didnt do choir and i dont think theyd let me either....
