Is it normal that my father compares me to my mother?

My father hasn't seen me for a long while. Like 6 years. But recently I went to visit him. All he's been doing is comparing me to my mother. It's starting to get real irritating. He'll say things like "Oh you wear glasses now, You look like your mother. Stop trying to be like your mother." I'm just like wow wtf I can't see very far so that's why I wear glasses. It's just stupid little remarks like that that piss me off.

My mother and him aren't together. My mother has single handedly fucked up his life and I see why he's angry but god don't take it out on me.
I'm not sure what to do or why he's doing it?

Tell him every time he compares you to your mother he has to contribute $5 to the dumb ass dad fund.

It's normal. You're supposed to look like your mother, you have some of her DNA.

What's not normal is that he seems to get upset about that.
You may be a constant reminder of what she did to him, but he shouldn't treat his own daughter that way.

My mom does that too me as well, she compares me to my father with all his negative traits. I don’t even know how she came up with the conclusion my father and I have white blood... I think it's normal.

My Mom does this to me when it comes to my Father. I love her, but they have been divorced for five years, get the fuck over him already.

Both my parents do this to me... Though my mum tends to pick out the good traits, whilst my dad is irritated by any opinion that my mum shares with me.

Sounds like he needs to get over it.
