Is it normal that my family leaves me out of some things?

For the past year, my family has been leaving me out of many things. Like earlier today for example.

I went to visit my friend for an hour or so, since algebra is a pain in my ass, and I needed help with it. After I was done with my work, I went home to find that the door was locked. I stood there, outside the door, for half an hour, freezing. My family came back just as I was about to become a human snowman (or snow-woman) and told me that they went to a restaurant while I was gone. What the fuck? You don't go to a restaurant while your oldest child is out, and then lock the door so she can freeze (I didn't bring my keys since I thought they would be home.)

Like I said, I've been dealing with this for the past year. They've gone to amusement parks, houses of family friends, EVERYWHERE. Without me. It's always happening. it's hard to remember the last time they took me to any major event with them.

I wonder if I'm overreacting since many families need time away from family members from time to time. I thought that until I noticed that they have been going out way too often without me. IIN?

You know what it is. They don't know if you would like it or wanna join. But when you leave they stay home go upstairs to the bedroom and have a family orgy.. You know that's what's happening. Like my family me my brother sister mom and dad have orgies all the time. Next time say your staying or hide in the house and I bet you'll csthc them all fucking

    • I'm home most of the time, as said in the previous post. I have a lot of time for opportunity, but they only go outside during the few times That I'm somewhere else.

Don't walk out the door without your keys in hand is what I would call rule #1 from here on out. Also have you ever tried to bridge the topic with your folks?

    • I usually do take my keys, but this time, I was running late and I didn't want to bother going back for my keys since I thought my family would be there anyways.

And, yes, I have tried to talk to them about it. They told me it wasn't a big deal, that they were just having fun. But I'm home almost everyday, since I'm not exactly old enough for a job yet and I am homeschooled. Therefore, I don't believe them. I mean, I only go out about two or three times a week with my neighbors and few friends, and the ONLY time they go somewhere fun is when I'm not here. I don't know why, but I get the feeling that they do this just because they don't like me, or my parents just favor my siblings over me, and just decide I don't deserve as much as they do.

Well, I'm truly sorry to hear that your family is treating you this way. Why are they home schooling you?

        • I got suspended once for something I didn't even do, and so they decided I should stop school altogether and just be homeschooled. A pretty stupid reason if you ask me.

Oh, I agree with you wholeheartedly that is a pretty lame reason to home school someone. When will you be able to. high school?

    • Why don't you take your ass and fuck off if you aren't going to give me a real answer. This was the ONE out of the few times I did not take my keys. What do my keys have to do with this anyway? Nothing.
