Is it normal that my eyes are two different colors?

Okay, so here's the deal. my eyes can change their color based on my mood, what i'm wearing, and the weather. but just recently i had managed to notice that one eyes was brown and the other was green. today they are green on the left and a color close to gold. please tell me that i'm not the only one with this. i really need to know if this is normal. kids at school are starting to notice my eye color and are calling me a freak. others like it and wish they had what i have. but i dont like the majority of my classmates calling me a freak. is this normal? does anyone else have this problem with their eyes?

If they are calling you a freak, it's because they're jealous of your beautiful eyes.

My eyes are blue, but one of them actually has a spec of brown in it.

      hehe, yes, "thanks" are the correct idea, sorry for not writing more accurately:
      
      i was trying to reinforce shackle's position in that the insults of other people are merely an expression of envy.
      
      or they use it as a form of insult because they KNOW you are unsure about them, but then that has NOTHING to do with your eyes and only with your social standing and the fact many school kids are jerks or bullies.
      
      you owe it to yourself to not care about them, heck, i wore one colored contact lens for a while because i considered this to be incredibly cool...believe me, the feedback you will get about them will become more and more positive with age.

It's awesome! FYI they dont change bc of your mood or weather, its just that different colors come out. Mine are green w/ blue rims & a red/yellow burst in the center. Different levels of light will highlight different colors, while your eyes being contracted or dilated will do the same. Enjoy it! (fyi the pizza guy said mine were "scary" but in a good way!) The term I believe is "hazel".

  yeah i no what u mean by the pizza guy saying ur eyes were scary. i get that a lot too. i swear, when i look at ppl and they c my eyes, i swaer they dont stop running till they hit Chicago!! lol :)

It's not too strange, but it's not normal either.
But I do have to say, I have hazel eyes and sometimes my eyes change color from time to time on my mood or the weather, like yours do, although mine are both the same color at a given time...

BTW, I LOVE eyes like that!!!! You are lucky to have beautiful eyes!!! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise...

Also, I was and still am bullied at school and other places, I've learned to ignore the remarks made by people. It just makes it worse if you react to it negatively. Instead, react positively, and confuse them by saying, "Awww thanks, your so nice!" That always confuses people.

I don't know if its normal but its cool. Ive heard of people with eyes that change color and people with two different color eyes but I think its rare. Personally I always liked girls that have intresting features that are differant. Anyone who makes fun of you for it isnt important anyways.

It happens, people with grey eyes (such as mine) tend to have their eyes change colour. My eyes change colour from time to time. My natural eye colour is grey, and they turn blue or green.

It happens.

        the way he wrote that is the old fashioned way of writing the word. a lot of ppl write it that way, some of them do it out of habit. and u don't have 2 b canadian. just sayin. not trying 2 b mean.

  I get it, but eyes that seem to change color are real. In school friends said i had "mood ring eyes." It's just different flecks of color become more apparent under different light, when you wear certain colors, eyes are dilated, etc.

I think that's really cool and rare and it hasn't stopped Kate Bosworth from getting into the movies, either. On the contrary, it adds a kind of interest and intrigue that helps to capture and hold your attention. I think people who call you a freak are probably just jealous.

I know lots of people like this.

In fact my own son and nephew have blue eyes but have significant enough flecks in one eye to make it seem gold (brownish).

If it bothers you wear tinted glasses.
