Is it normal that my exes contact me to vent?

There's no other reason for them to contact me but when they want to vent about their current girlfriend. I prefer not to hear someone bitching all the time and is it a bit weird contacting your EX of all people and complain about a current relationship? I know not to do that to my exes because I expect to have a biased response since most of them are not over me..

Is this normal? Anyone else have to deal with their damn ex-bf/gf running back when shit hits the fan with their current?

    That's why they left you - you're a doormat to them!

    When they start moaning, just say "Oh there's my doorbell / lift / other phone - have to go! Bye!"

    Don't listen to this shit. Life is for laughing!

    OR you could just say, "Go and tell someone who gives a shit!"

    OR "Talk to your mommy, baby boy!"

    Cut the phone call short - end of problem, then ignore their calls.
