Sounds pretty cool. Plenty of people at my high school were good friends with this one biology teacher, well after they finished her class. She was a good teacher and an even better person.

Yeah. There were a handful of teachers at my high school who pretty much every one of their students loved, and would come talk to during their free time, and then come back to visit after graduation.
One of these was a English teacher who taught more about life than literature. His final was to write something you learned from the class. I had learned not to take things for granted, and to try and keep in contact with old friends, instead of just forgetting about them.
