Is it normal that my emotions change really quickly?

Sometimes I'll be happy and laughing with someone, then the next I'd snap and get angry. So angry I want to hurt them and make them feel like crap. This happens everyday! as soon as someone does/ says something that bothers me. Even a tiny bit. And sometimes I'll be happy and randomly start feeling really sad. It's hard to explain so I can't really go into that much detail.. So, is this normal?

You might be bi-polar. There's tests they can do to find out.

    • That's the biggest "pop psychology" misconception about bi-polar. Infact bi-polar is being in one of two states for LONG periods.

It's days of depression, followed by days of totally opposite hypo-mania.

They stay at one pole for a large amount of time and then go to the other for a large amount of time. The OP feeling lots of different emotions in short periods and bursts is indicative of something else.

Sounds more like Borderline Personality Disorder than Bipolar to me.
