Is it normal that my dreams are so realistic, i can't wake up?

The question is a bit confusing, so let me try to rephrase it... Is it normal that when I turn off my alarm in the morning, I'm thinking I'm awake and getting ready for the new day, but I'm actually only dreaming it? I, for some reason, can't get myself to wake up. Even if I put my alarm across the room, I'll find myself passed out, only to wake up realizing that I had dreamt I went where I had to for the day. Is it normal?

Wow. I have had dreams where I have a convo with someone about something I currently need to tell them and I approach them later and I'll be like "Remember, I told you..... And they're like "No, dude, that Never happened".

So I dream about stuff that I have/want to do and then think its already done! I can have conversations with people in MY own head!!

    LOL

I have dreams like that all the time especially if it's before a big event or a test. It really trips me out when I wake up. Everyone dreams differently. I know a girl who always dreams about dying and nothing else.
