my daughter has got a habit of picking her nose all day long an even does it in public :( she is in high school and has no shame in doing it .... she also wants to pic her's an every one else's spots its soooooo vile it makes me sick !!!
Take her to see a doctor. Maybe she has a deviated septum, which feels like having a giant-sized booger in your nose. Or maybe she has some strange nasal fixation that can be stopped by some simple behavior modification; like carry cloth hankerchiefs with her or paper tissues and start using those instead of the finger.
Take some Habenero Chillis, grind them into a paste, mix them into some "Nail polish remover", shake well, then mix a small amount into each of her Nail polishes.
She will apply her nail polish to her finger nails as normal but as soon as she pushes her little diamond diggers into her nose she will be very sorry that she did! Her nose will start burning inside like a house on fire! That should stop the little "diamond digger" from this revolting practice she has!
An alternative method of getting her to stop is for you to copy her when she digs in her nose, only do it front of her friends / Peers and then actually put it in your mouth and eat it with loud slobbering noises, if that does not stop her nothing will!
Pick your nose and pick your friends...but don't pick your friend's nose. Words to live by.
havent u asked her WHY she does this? is something physically bothering her that she cant stop messing with it, or is it more like an obsessive compulsive thing? if she does it at school in front of her peers, it makes me wonder why she wouldnt care about being rejected or picked on... or who knows, she might be on cocaine and it causes her to do nervous, repetetive actions bcuz of an irritated nose..
I have a friend who is almost 19 years old and he picks his nose all the time, it is disgusting! He does it in front of anyone and just doesn't seem to care. I just don't understand how people can't be embaressed about something like that.
you spelled pick wrong. I don't know what to tell you, except tell her to stop. She has to break that habit eventually.
My bf likes to attempt to pick my nose a lot.. but not in public.. that's just awkward.
I used to do that to my ex too. Or grab her neck because it made her make a little noise that was funny. Or stare at the top of her head until she got paranoid and rearranged her hair. One time when we were feeding the ducks, I put a slice of bread in the hood of her duffel coat and a goose followed her all the way down the canal bank.
I'm a terrible, terrible boyfriend but I'm glad there are women in the world like you and her who put up with stuff like this.
I think it's cute when my bf does stuff like that! I find it annoying when other chicks get upset at the positive, joking antics that bfs do on occasion. I see it as a type of flirting and at least they're not doing it to other females.
My bf also likes to put his nose into my belly button and move it around knowing that it tickles..
I think it to be a sign of a good boyfriend. I just hope that's normal! Haha.
Aww, you see it exactly the same way I did. It is a kind of flirting because I was paying her all my attention and trying to make her laugh. I was always after her belly button too because she had a cute, soft little belly and it was just nice to be near it.
Don't really care if it's abnormal or not; I'm always going to do stuff like this. :)
