Is it normal that my dad burps everytime he gets up?

I'm pretty sure this isn't normal. I mean I know it is normal to burp every once and a while and for some people they burp more then others. But my dad he berps literally every single time he gets up. I'm actually kind of worried. He is overweight and maybe that has something to do with it but he burps once or twice everytime he gets up! Is this something to worry about or am I blowing it out of proportion?
