Okay, so the other night I got home pretty late from a party. It was about 4:00 AM when I walked through the front door, but it didn't really matter bc my mom was asleep. So I quietly went downstairs to my bedroom, but when I arrived my cousin, who is a guy (I'm a girl) and twice my age was there waiting for me. He has been staying over and helping remodel the house. So I was like, "okay, I'm going to bed now" totally expecting him to leave. But instead he grabbed ahold of my wrists and turned me so I was facing him. He then demanded "WHERE have you been young lady?" I didn't really answer, so he roared "WHY has it taken you all night to return?" I was freaking out, because he was acting like he was my father. When I didn't say anything, he took off his belt, and said that if my parents weren't going to keep me in line, he would. He then grabbed my skirt, hiked it up and pulled down my panties. I am not a child, and was furious, but he was way stronger. He took the belt and started whipping my bare bottom. When I struggled he pulled me over his knee and continued. It HURT LIKE HELL. He kept hitting and hitting until I couldn't cry anymore. Then he threw me under the covers and left. The next morning he was super nice to me, and told my mom I needed to sleep 'til noon bc I was sick. I don't know what to think.

    What I don't understand is why you are writing about it here but have not told your parents, someone at school, or the police.

    Common sense seems to be lacking here.

      Well, he's been so nice that I don't want to make a big fuss. He's working on our house for free, and is a fun, nice guy mostly...

        He is manipulating you, classic sign of a repeat abuser if they act like nothing happened, and lie to ur mother about you, he knows what he did will get him in trouble, and he knows he deserves it!! Call the Fuzz!!!

    Of course it is normal. I cant believe western society acts like that to discipline. What kind of people will grow up without discipline you damned pimple, you cannot cry for getting discipline. Did you expected to get home late and dont get punished? I really respect your cousin, but not you pimple!

          Okay, cool. Look, I know that this is also due to my American ignorance, but I don't really understand your use of the word "pimple". Is that slang in lithuania for something?

            Yeah it is, I mean that you are crying immature kid, because you thought that you will not be punished for bad behavior. I want to tell not only personally, but the whole western society got so weak because of no discipline, but I hope this is a matter of time. Good luck to you.

    You need to file assault charges against him. There is no excuse for this as you are not his offspring, and you are not living under his roof. He is a guest in your home, and due to this, he should leave immediately. Honestly I'm surprised it was only physical abuse he forced on you, as it almost sounded like he wanted to do more. From the moment you said he took off your panties, I thought he was going to try to force himself on you. Either way he is in the wrong, and needs to get out of your house ASAP. For your own safety you need to inform both your parents, and if they do not contact the police then you need to. With the whole removal of your undergarments this could be considered a sexual assault.

        Well not all spankings are sexual, maybe he thought he was doing the right thing. But in that case, why did he take down your panties?

        If he thinks it was a normal, right thing to do, then he can't complain if you tell your parents. If he doesn't think it was a normal, right thing to do, then you should definitely tell your parents.

          Also as you said, you aren't a child anymore. Plus bare bottom spanking is never okay in my books. If he thought you should have been punished he should have told your parents and then let them deal with you.
