Is it normal that my comments disappear?

I've noticed that my comments on this site sometimes disappear without explanation. Now understand that when I say "disappear," I don't mean they're hidden; I mean they're gone. Sometimes they can be seen when I log in; other times, apparently not.

Now yes, I am known to be rather harsh and un-PC, but still, I've always wondered exactly what the deal is with this.

Is it normal!?

    Mine sometimes disappear aswell. Its coz were assholes.

    just for fun i kept commenting on a post after getting deleted. each comment more outlandish than the last, 8 times. it must have kept the OP busy :)

    Mine were getting deleted as well. Free speech apparently does not exist at times.

        Yeah, I'm new here... But my comment and story got deleted because my grammar suck and therefore said I "fuckstick", "asshole" and some words along it. Is this site only for grammar nazi or people with english native? Such unwelcoming site... I think I won't come to this site ever after this

    You probably answered you own question. Try using some tact when you comment, and perhaps they'll stick around?

        Your comments might not dissapear. I will explain something I have noticed. I hope this helps anyone else as well. Sometimes if you comment on a page and leave it and go back it will not show up. However if you go to your page and look at your comments it will show up when you go to it using your comment links. I have noticed this happening a lot to me. Might be the same for you.

        Perhaps you weren't be SPECIFIC enough. And also, if they got deleted, how would you expect an explanation? Go hunt down a comment of yours and explain to you why? And how are you supposed to get an answer when you're calling yourself anonymous? No one will know. So yeah I'm sticking with; You're too fucking dumb to give advice.

    My old post on this got deleted which is non sense because it was not remotely obscene. Which is what it was about there is a conspiracy on this website. My post was something like "My non-offensive comments get deleted and the only post I have ever had rejected was asking iin to have non offensive comments deleted." Conspiracy for sure I think management has a political agenda and if it is challenged too much they will delete comments or not accept post

    Maybe that Admin delte the comment becurse they are innapropriate, I hope no one sud that already, i really didunt reed anyone elses comment because i am half sleup..
