Is it normal that my brother's girlfriend practically lives with us? She lives 15-20 minutes away, yet she opts to spend the majority of her time at our home. She has basically moved in (there is a bed set up for her in the basement...), she keeps bags of her clothes, shampoo, food, and other things at our home. She's over 5-6 days a week, and usually sleeps over. Usually we'll get a day or two without her, but that's it.

She is the most mannerless and uncordial individual I've ever seen. She barges into our home at any given hour without knocking, eats our food on a whim, and helps herself to whatever she wants without asking. She doesn't care.

She's always around during holidays or whatever, it doesn't matter-- she's always here even when she shouldn't be. Her and I don't really get along, I am so sick of her coming over practically every single day-- I am losing my sanity. They have been dating for over a year now. I just miss it when it was just our family. I absolutely deplore this "new addition." And my parents don't see anything wrong with it. Their care-free attitude with her, only further encourages her behavior.

Is this normal girlfriend behavior? To literally forsaken their family and move in with their boyfriend's family??

    This isn't normal. She should treat her boyfriends family with more respect. someone should tell her that her behaviour is un acceptable. I would never treat my boyfriends family like that. I hate staying there for more
    than a couple days in case I intrude too much, and couldn't get myself to eat their food, it's there's! I would always buy me and my boyfriends food.
