Is it normal that my brother acts nervous when i watch him play....

video games? I am a boy, older than him by 4 years. And whenever i sit down on the couch and start to watch the screen while he is playing, he starts to act really nervous and he loses a lot, and he looks at me frequently. I never hurt him or anything like that. Everything is fine when hes not playing video games. I just find it weird. Is it normal?

Bless him, he probably wants to look cool and really good at video games to impress his big brother. Why not play with him, or just compliment his skills :)

I just personally don't like it when I know people are watching me play videogames. You get that over the shoulder feeling and you lose focus. Kind of like when a teacher would walk around in school and look at your work, I always had to stop because it made me uncomfortable and I would lose focus.

He may be self-conscious with you around. Maybe he looks up to you so much that when you watch him play video games he gets nervous because he doesn't want to let you down. That's what it sounds like to me. You seem like a nice older brother, so his being nervous probably isn't because of a negative thing necessarily. Maybe play video games with him or tell him he did a great job when he does well on the game, etc...

I don't mind people watching me play video games so much, me and my friend play them together all the time which obviously means watching eachother. What I can't stand is people watching me type or do anything on the computer, it makes me lose concentration.
